The Venus Factor is Weight loss program specifically designed for women. I was really excited to review this course because there are so few programs out there just for women and the few that you see the most are just really lame! A while back I reviewed John Barban’s men’s program which is genius, so I was pretty sure that if he put out a program for women that it would be pretty good too.
Before I get into talking about the course I just want to make sure that you know who John Barban is. If you watched the video on his site (it’s pretty informative actually when it talks about hormones and stuff… you can watch it here) then you saw that he is actually a consultant who works with all of the top supplement companies. So basically he is a real deal scientist who has taught at top Universities (even though he looks like a pretty young dude)… So the reason this is important is that he has research the FEMALE metabolism more than almost anyone. It’s shocking, but most fitness experts and even Dr.s don’t know about this stuff!
So… About the course. What you get is a 12 week in depth nutrition plan that was designed specifically to take your metabolism from the sorry state it is in now and turn in into a fat burning power house my tapping in to what Barban refers to as your “untapped” fat burning potential. You even get some really cool software to totally customize everything specifically for you.
And, one of my favorite parts is that the program is currently (I’m not sure for how long) coming with 143 video coaching lessons for free. So you get your nutrition plan, and your exercise plan together in one place (plus there is a really neat community that all the girls who use the program rave about…)
Is this really different than all the other diets I’ve tried?
This program is full of what can only be described as “female fat loss loop holes” basically, John figured out WHY women have such a hard time losing weight based on hormones, and really kind of complex scientific stuff that I’m not going to go into here. But the idea is that by making some dietary changes (that aren’t all that hard AT ALL) you can change the way that your metabolism responds to certain signal, and tap in to your bodies own pre-existing fat burning power.
